Customizing Your Email

Change the way you interact with and see your email. 

Step-by-Step: 

  1. Click on the Settings link in the top, right corner of your inbox

  2. Email Options
    1. Track activity for messages sent to internal email addresses - checking this box will provide you with a report on your sent messages on which recipient(s) has read the message

    2. Include original message in email replies - this will include the original message to which you are replying in your reply - RECOMMENDED

    3. Send a copy of each outgoing message to - checking this box will send you a copy of any messages you send in MyCourses to your external email account if one has been provided

    4. Save a copy of each outgoing message to the Sent Mail folder - checking this box will save a copy of each outgoing message to the Sent Mail folder – RECOMMENDED

  3. Email Signature - Enter a personalized email signature into this field to have it appear on all of your outgoing messages

  4. Display Options
    1. Show the Message Preview pane - unchecking this option will open messages in a new window by default rather than in the Message Preview pane

    2. Show the Folder List pane - checking this option shows the Folder List to the left of your email inbox - RECOMMENDED

    3. Mark messages as read when viewed in the Message Preview pane - checking this option marks messages as read automatically once you have viewed them in the Message Preview pane - RECOMMENDED
