Records and Registration FAQs: Outgoing Transcripts

How can I request a copy of my official or unofficial transcript?

A $5.00 transcript fee will be assessed on all requests for hard-copy official transcripts. Electronic transcripts sent to participating Florida public universities and colleges will remain free. The fee is non-refundable and cannot be waived except when (1) there is documentable college error, (2) the student documents homeless status, or (3) the student is a current SPC employee. For more information on requesting your official transcript, visit https://go.spcollege.edu/transcript/.

Request your official SPC transcript:
Login to MySPC and choose Request Transcript from the "Status" page or click "Register for Classes" and select "Request Transcript". You will automatically be prompted to input the mailing address where you would like the transcripts sent. If you are requesting an electronic copy rather than a hard copy (only eligible to be sent to other Florida public colleges or universities), click the drop-down option that says "Hard Copy" and change it to "Electronic Copy." Then click the magnifying glass icon to search for the college/university your transcripts should be sent to.

Once the address or electronic request is inputted, you will receive a confirmation message that your request was submitted.

Request an official transcript by mail:
Mail a completed Transcript Request Form to: REGISTRAR'S OFFICE, Admissions and Records, St. Petersburg College, P.O. Box 33089, St. Petersburg FL 33733.

Request an official transcript by phone:
If you don't have access to a printer, call us at 727-341-3162 to request that we mail the form to you for completion. Please be sure to include your name and mailing address.

Request an unofficial transcript:

If you would like to view an unofficial copy of your transcripts, choose View Unofficial Transcript from the "Status" page or click "Register for Classes" and select "Request Transcript."

Both official and unofficial transcripts can be requested in person. Processing the request takes approximately 24 to 48 hours after receipt.

Checking status of the request:

To check the status of your SPC Transcript requests:

Login to MySPC and hover your mouse cursor over Register for Classes, then select Track My Transcripts.

Online Transcript Request Tracking will have tabs that identify your type of request and status, as follows: Transcript Type, Academic Career, Status, Request Date, Process Date, Description, Name, Address Line 1.

The requests are listed from requested date in descending order. To determine if the request has been processed, please refer to the process date.

If your request was for an electronic transcript to be sent, the name and address fields should be blank.

  • Electronic transcripts are processed every business day that the College is open. *Electronic transcripts (EDI) can be ordered for participating Florida public colleges. These transcripts can be sent and received in a timelier manner than the hard copy transcripts.
  • Requests submitted online for a hard copy are printed and mailed the next business day.
  • Transcript requests received via postal mail or fax are processed as quickly as possible, usually in the same week.

Requests to be sent after grades are posted are sent one week after the end of the term.
Requests to be sent after the degree is posted will be sent 30 days after the end of the term. These dates are already reflected in the request date.

Status:

In a Queue: means it is waiting to be sent electronically (EDI); or it is waiting to be printed (Hard Copy).

Completed: means the process has been done.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact Admissions & Records at 727-341-3162 or 727-341-7141.

Requesting a transcript after graduation:

The degree completion will be reflected on the official transcript as applications are reviewed and posted throughout the processing period. Students should check in MYSPC to see if their degree(s) have been posted prior to sending transcripts to another institution.
