Reply to a Thread

Your first post to a discussion topic will often be made by using the Start a New Thread option. Once you Start a New Thread, your classmates can reply to you and you to them under that thread.

Step-by-Step: 

  1. From the course content area (on the navbar), navigate to the correct module.

  2. Locate the discussion within the module. Click the blue title of the discussion within the module

  3. Scroll down past the instructions and title, to where you see the blue Start a new thread Button

  4. Click on the blue title of the post to which you would like to reply

  5. Click Reply to Thread

  6. Enter your reply into the Message field

  7. If you would like to include the original post in your reply, click on Add original post text

  8. Click Post
