How can I add a class?

To add a class:


Log in to MySPC at


Select and click the “Register for Classes” tab.


Each term, if you have not previously attempted to register, you will need to acknowledge a few screens (e.g. academic honesty, address, etc.).


Next, you will want to select the radio button next to the term you wish to register for and click "Continue".  


Then, you will want to select the radio button under "Find Classes" for either "Class Search" or "My Planner" and click "Search".

  • If you have already filled out your My Learning Plan, choose the "My Planner" option. This will allow you to use the "My Schedule Planner" tool. This tool makes registration quick and easy by mapping out schedules that take into consideration your personal schedule as well as the other classes and boundaries that you have pre-planned. We recommend that all students set up their learning plan in My Learning Plan as it will help with course selection for degree completion.
  • If you have not completed your My Learning Plan yet, select the "Class Search" option. This will take you to the class search area. you will need to input a subject and a course number. The subject will be the 3-letter prefix (such as ENC) and the number will be the 4-digit class number (such as 1101). Then, near the bottom of the page, you can select a specific campus, or leave all options unchecked to search for sections at every campus. Once all relevant information is filled in, click the green "Search" button to find classes meeting the criteria you selected.


Once you find a section that you would like to enroll in, click the green "Select" button in the far right column for that section, followed by the green "Next" button. This will take you back to the first page, where the course will now show in your shopping cart. Repeat all of these steps to add any other classes you want to take. Once all desired courses have been added to your shopping cart and you are on the main "Add Classes" page, click the green "Proceed to step 2 of 3" button. Then, click "Finish Enrolling" to finalize your registration.
